South Africa Business Visa (NON-US) Requirements

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (Please Read)

Submission for your visa requires an appointment with the Consular Office.
The processing time offered starts from when we’ve succesfully submitted your request.

South Africa Visa Application

Complete, print, and sign the South Africa visa application.
Please sign the application with a blue or black ink (electronic signature will not be accepted).

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

Two (2) Passport Photograph

Please provide two (2) recent passport photographs captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Business Letter From Employer

An original business letter from your U.S. employer is required (click here for sample).
This letter should clarify the trip's objectives, offer financial assurance, outline the requested travel dates and visa duration, and feature contact details for the visited organization.
This letter must articulate the purpose of the intended activities (i.e. business meetings), printed on the company's official letterhead, and signed by a company representative.

Bank Statement (Last 3 Months) - Stamped By Bank

Provide 3 months of your most recent bank statements, stamped/certified by the bank.
This can be done electronically by contacting your bank.

Invitation Letter From Business Host

You need to provide an invitation letter from the host company (scan copy is accepted).
This letter must articulate the purpose of the intended activities (i.e. business meetings), printed on the company's official letterhead, and signed by a company representative.

Hotel Confirmation

Please submit confirmation of your hotel reservation.
The hotel confirmation should include your name and the duration of your stay.

Flight Itinerary

A copy of an airline confirmation, showing your name as well as entry and exit to the country.
If traveling via land/sea border, please provide a signed letter of explanation, in addition to the airline confirmation.

Multiple-Entry Visa Request

In order to be considered and receive multiple-entry visa, you must provide your flight/cruise itinerary to prove it.

Proof of U.S. Status

Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
